Ciao,
vi sottopongo un problema al quale ho dedicato molte ricerche finchè non mi sono deciso a scrivere.
Ho una scheda Alix 2d13 e utilizzo tutte e 4 le porte USB per collegare delle chiavette UMTS Huawei K4505.
La connessione a internet funziona perfettamente con tutti gli operatori, ma ho un problema.
Accendendo l'Alix con le chiavette inserite, le configurazioni di rete PPPx non sono correttamente associate alla chiavetta con l'operatore corretto.
In pratica non è detto che PPP0, configurato su USB0 e con APN della TIM, si riferisca alla chiavetta corretta. Questo perchè ogni chiavetta si presenta al sistema e gli viene assegnato un numero di porta USB in sequenza.
La domanda è: è possibile fare in modo che infilando una chiavetta nella USB4, agganci effettivamente la PPP3 dove è configurata la USB4?

Ciao,
se intendi che dal comando dmesg le chiavette vengono caricate e viste ciascuna con una porta USB univoca ... si.
Le chiavette si mostrano con 3 USB ciascuna:
1. gsmmodem
2. cdrom
3. internal storage

Quindi quando ne faccio la configurazione network, in PPPx vedo 3 USB per ciascuna chiavetta e usando la prima USB delle 3 elencate, la connessione funziona.

Io non ho a disposizione materiale per testare ma proverei così:

in dmesg controllerei i vari bus dove vengono associati alle porte usb.

farei uno script in postboot che va a leggere le varie porte associate e crea un link simbolico..
tipo
portausb1="$(dmesg | grep "bla bla bla" | awk '{ print $NF }')"

dove "bla bla bla" identifica la riga della prima key

ln -s /dev/"$portausb1" /dev/portausb1

poi nella configurazione della key1 l'assocerei a /dev/portausb1

e così di seguito.

purtroppo siccome non sono molto pratico, ti incollo l'output del dmesg, magari potresti scrivermi direttamente i comandi da dare nello script.
In questo output è inserita la sola chiavetta nella porta USB4, ma che tramite ZS viene vista come USB0

Innanzitutto grazie ... se non fosse stato per te, non avrei risolto! ... grazie!

In pratica il problema è nell'indirizzamento delle USB: valori alti non funzionano, probabilmente il limite può essere 32 o 64 ... dovrei provare ancora.

Usando lo script per mappare le porte USB20 - 21 - 22 -23 funziona alla grande.
