|How can I use my laptop as Software WLAN Repeater. I know Hardware WLAN Repeaters are cheap nowadays but I am interested in the software solution.
my wlan card and driver:
lspci | grep -i net
02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM5787M Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 02)
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)
ath5k 121792 0
mac80211 205146 1 ath5k
ath 7611 1 ath5k
cfg80211 126517 3 ath5k,mac80211,ath
led_class 2864 3 ath5k,acer_wmi,sdhci
I would like to construct a repeater by the use of one wlan card only. How can I do that. In Windows there is a solution "Virtual WIFI". I cannot imagine that there is no solution for LINUX.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks a lot in advance!
